The Southington Blue Knights softball squad (Southington, CT), was routed 4-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT)

With the triumph, Cheshire improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Rams travel to Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT) to face the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. The Crusaders enter the contest with a record of 1-10. Lauralton Hall lost 13-0 in their recent league contest against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT)

The Blue Knights now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Maloney for a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. Southington will face a Spartans squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Platt (Meriden, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 6-7.
