The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) and the visiting Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), observed Maine South's softball team prevail over Evanston by a tally of 18-3.

The Hawks (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans go into the Central Suburban - South bout with a 15-12 record. In their last bout, Glenbrook North knocked off Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 14-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildkits clash with the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) in a Central Suburban - South bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Evanston will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record.
