Michigan High School Softball - Meridian bounces Farwell

The Meridian Mustangs softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Farwell Eagles to 3 in the Mustangs league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankenmuth for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Meridian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 18-1 league win over Alma (Alma, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Farwell moves to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Jack Pine battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 7-6. Standish-Sterling lost 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Goodrich (Goodrich, MI)
