In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hodgdon Hawks softball team scored a nice 19-8 win over the Fort Fairfield Tigers.

The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Panthers come into the Class D North match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Central Aroostook notched a victory over Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 15-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) in a Class D North match, on Saturday, May 10. Fort Fairfield will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 20-8 non-league win over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME).
