The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI) and the visiting Goodrich Martians (Goodrich, MI), observed Lake Fenton's softball team get by Goodrich by a tally of 5-4.

The Blue Devils (19-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Lightning go into the non-league bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Lapeer was nipped by Central (Bay City, MI), 8-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Martians clash with the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Goodrich will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 8-2 league win over Shepherd (Shepherd, MI).
