In Thursday's non-league test, the Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), by a count of 16-6.
Next, the Warriors meet the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a Capital test, on Monday, May 12. Henrico will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
The Justices (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Armstrong was routed by Varina (Richmond, VA), 18-7, in a league test.
