The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) and the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), observed New Trier's softball team get by Highland Park by a tally of 7-3.

The Trevians (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans go into the Central Suburban - South bout with a 4-21 record. In their last bout, Glenbrook South was routed by Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Giants clash with the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 9. Highland Park will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Zee-Bees go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
