Ohio High School Softball - Martins Ferry bounces Indian Creek

The Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) softball routed the host Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), 9-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Purple Riders now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cambridge for a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. Martins Ferry will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 6-3 league win over Edison (Richmond, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-15.

With the loss, Indian Creek moves to 8-13 on the season. The Redskins travel to St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH) to encounter the Red Devils in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA outing on Friday, May 9. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 3-18. St. Clairsville won 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH)
