New York High School Softball - Jamestown knocked off by Southwestern

May 8, 2025: Jamestown, NY 14701

The Southwestern Trojans overwhelmed the host Jamestown Red & Green softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY) in a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West challenge, on Friday, May 9. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Hillbillies go into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY).

The Red & Green (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Olean (Olean, NY). The Huskies go into the Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Olean toppled Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY), 17-0, in a league challenge.
