In Thursday's league test, the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), by a tally of 17-12.

Next, the Shipbuilders meet the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a Class B South test, on Monday, May 12. Morse will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 6-3 league win over Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets go into the Class B South test with a 6-0 record.
