The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), observed Roosevelt's softball team prevail over Lincoln Park by a tally of 16-1.

The Bears (15-7) will now prepare for their bout against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Thunderbirds go into the Downriver bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Edsel Ford knocked off Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI), 17-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Railsplitters battle the Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Monday, May 12. Lincoln Park will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI).
