Wisconsin High School Softball - Marinette bounces Oconto Falls

In Thursday's league match, the host Marinette Marines softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Oconto Falls Panthers.

The Marines (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton, WI). The Foxes come into the North Eastern match with a 12-0 record. In their last match, Fox Valley Lutheran nipped Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI), 3-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Clintonville Truckers (Clintonville, WI) in a North Eastern match, on Friday, May 9. Oconto Falls will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Truckers come into the match with a 6-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Freedom (Freedom, WI).
