In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Poynette Pumas softball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Marshall Cardinals.

The Pumas (15-2) will now prepare for their match against River Valley (Spring Green, WI). The Blackhawks go into the non-league match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, River Valley was routed by Richland Center (Richland Center, WI), 6-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Bonduel Bears (Bonduel, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 10. Marshall will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 10-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI).
