In Thursday's league test, the Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), by a tally of 10-2.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) in a NJAC - Independence test, on Friday, May 9. Mountain Lakes will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 4-9 record after their 20-5 non-league loss to Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ).

The Crimson (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record.
