New York High School Softball - Mount St. Mary Academy topped by St. Mary's

St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Thunder (Kenmore, NY), 9-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Lancers travel to Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY) to play the Sharks in a Monsignor Martin game on Monday, May 12. The Sharks enter the game with a record of 3-5. Sacred Heart Academy lost 5-2 in their recent league game against Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY)

The Thunder now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Nichols for a Monsignor Martin game on Monday, May 12. Mount St. Mary Academy will play a Vikings squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Mount Mercy Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
