Ohio High School Softball - Shelby can't get by Ontario

The Ontario Warriors edged the visiting Shelby Whippets softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Ontario will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Arrows enter the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 4-3 league loss to Wooster (Wooster, OH).

The Whippets (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Mounties enter the non-league challenge with a 10-10 record.
