The Prescott Cardinals softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Osceola Chieftains to 1 in the Cardinals league win on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grantsburg for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Prescott will confront a Pirates team coming off a 13-3 league win over Turtle Lake/Clayton (Turtle Lake, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Osceola moves to 3-14 on the season. The Chieftains host Unity (Balsam Lake, WI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Unity lost 15-1 in their recent league battle against Shell Lake (Shell Lake, WI)
