New York High School Softball - Saranac Lake knocked off by Ticonderoga

The Ticonderoga Sentinels overwhelmed the host Saranac Lake Red Storm softball squad by a count of 24-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Sentinels meet the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge, on Monday, May 12. Ticonderoga will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record.

The Red Storm (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, AuSable Valley was routed by Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY), 9-6, in a league challenge.
