Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL), 10-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Southern Choctaw improves its record to 19-11 on the year.

The Bulldogs now hold a 16-14 record. They play next when they travel to Brantley for a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. Sweet Water will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Millry (Millry, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 25-14.
