Ohio High School Softball - Springfield bounces Woodridge

The Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) softball routed the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), 11-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogadore for a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. Springfield will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Woodridge moves to 4-19 on the season. The Bulldogs host Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH) to encounter the Colts in a Metro Athletic Conference outing on Friday, May 9. The Colts come into the outing with a record of 3-17. Cloverleaf lost 7-1 in their recent league outing against Springfield (Akron, OH)
