The Staley Falcons baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Blue Springs Wildcats to 2 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.

The Falcons now own a 22-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty North for a Class 6 District 8 test on Monday, May 11. Staley will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 19-5.

With the defeat, Blue Springs drops to 8-20 on the year. The Wildcats host Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO) to clash with the Jaguars in a Class 6 District 5 test on Monday, May 11. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 15-7. Blue Springs South won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO)
