Virginia High School Baseball - Freeman loses to Godwin

The Freeman Mavericks baseball squad (Richmond, VA), 6-3 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA)

With the triumph, Godwin moves its record to 16-3 on the season. The Eagles host Maury (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Commodores in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 13. The Commodores come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Maury won 18-0 in their recent league contest against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)

The Mavericks now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Marshall for a Colonial contest on Tuesday, May 12. Freeman will confront a Justices squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 6-6.
