The Greenwich Cardinals baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Stamford Black Knights to 4 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgefield for a Fairfield County test on Monday, May 11. Greenwich will play a Tigers team coming off a 9-3 league win over Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.

With the defeat, Stamford drops to 8-8 on the year. The Black knights travel to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to play the Falcons in a Fairfield County test on Monday, May 11. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 12-4. Ludlowe lost 6-3 in their recent league test against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)
