New York High School Baseball - Maple Grove defeats Pine Valley Central

May 8, 2026: Bemus Point, NY 14712

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Maple Grove Red Dragons (Bemus Point, NY) and the visiting Pine Valley Central Panthers (South Dayton, NY), saw Maple Grove's baseball team gain a win over Pine Valley Central by a tally of 12-5.

The Red Dragons (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Thunderbirds enter the CCAA II West battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Chautauqua Lake held off Pine Valley Central (South Dayton, NY), 14-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Salamanca Warriors (Salamanca, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 11. Pine Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
