The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) and the visiting North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), saw Simley's baseball team gain a win over North by a tally of 18-3.

The Spartans (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors enter the Classic Suburban battle with a 11-2 record.

Next, the Polars face the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a Classic Suburban battle, on Monday, May 11. North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 7-1 league win over Tartan (Oakdale, MN).
