The Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) softball routed the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 11-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Chiefs now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 9. Caldwell will encounter a Bengals team coming off a 12-8 league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Bloomfield moves to 12-13 on the season. The Bengals host Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 9. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 17-4. Caldwell won 12-2 in their recent non-league outing against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ)
