Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH), 4-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Monadnock improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Huskies host Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT) to face the Bears in a non-league game on Monday, May 11. The Bears enter the game with a record of 1-5.

The Orioles now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Fall Mountain for a Division III game on Monday, May 11. Conant will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Sunapee (Sunapee, NH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
