The Milford Spartans triumphed over the host Hanover Marauders softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Monday, May 11. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 14-2 league win over Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH).

The Marauders (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Pembroke (Pembroke, NH). The Spartans enter the Division II challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Pembroke was routed by Lebanon (Lebanon, NH), 7-1, in a league challenge.
