Pennsylvania High School Softball - Scranton bounces Scranton Prep

May 8, 2026: Scranton, PA 18508

In Friday's league match, the host Scranton Knights softball team scored a nice 16-5 victory over the Scranton Prep Cavaliers.

The Knights (3-12) will now prepare for their match against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans go into the Lackawanna 1 match with a 15-4 record. In their last match, North Pocono gained a win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 13-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 match, on Tuesday, May 12. Scranton Prep will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Invaders go into the match with a 9-7 record after their 7-0 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
