The Amherst Falcons crushed the host Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds baseball team by a count of 17-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menominee Indian for a Central Wisconsin - East bout on Tuesday, May 10. Amherst will face a Eagles team coming off a 24-3 league loss to Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
Next, the Thunderbirds face the Marion Mustangs (Marion, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 10. Iola-Scandinavia will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 9-0 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Rosholt (Rosholt, WI).
