In Monday's non-league game, the host Denver Academy Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Front Range Christian Falcons.
The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Ault, CO). The Huskies go into the 2A/1A Mile High game with a 15-2 record. In their last game, Highland tipped Estes Park (Estes Park, CO), 15-0, in a league game.
The Falcons (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Byers (Byers, CO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, Byers was edged by Bennett (Bennett, CO), 11-1, in a non-league game.
