The Morton Potters crushed the visiting Limestone Rockets baseball team by a count of 12-3 in Monday's league bout.
The Potters now possess a 22-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini bout on Wednesday, May 11. Morton will face a Rockets team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 4-15.
Next, the Rockets face the Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 10. Limestone will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Silver Streaks enter the bout with a 13-13 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
