In Monday's non-league battle, the host Taft Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Prosser Falcons.
The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Lane Tech nudged Senn (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Wolcott School Wolves (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 17. Prosser will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL).
