James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA), 20-7 in a league battle.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Handley for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 12. James Monroe will clash with a Judges squad coming off a 16-8 league loss to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Judges record now stands at 2-7.
In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 12. Eastern View will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 11-1 record after their 21-4 league win over Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
