The crowd at Monday's league test between the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) and the visiting Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), saw Swain County's soccer squad knock off Blue Ridge Early College by a margin of 4-1.

The Maroon Devils now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. Swain County will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Blue Ridge Early College drops to 3-9 on the season. The Bobcats host Tri-County (Murphy, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-3. Tri-County lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)
