In Monday's league game, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), by a count of 4-0.

The Pirates (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 16-1 record. In their last game, Hoggard nipped West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 10-1, in a league game.
