North Carolina High School Soccer - Tuscola nudges Smoky Mountain

The Tuscola Mountaineers soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 2 in the Mountaineers league victory on Monday.

Next, the Mountaineers face the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A contest, on Wednesday, May 11. Tuscola will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 17-3 record after their 9-3 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC).

The Mustangs now have a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host East Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A contest on Wednesday, May 11. Smoky Mountain will face a Eagles team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-17.
