In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Neptune Scarlet Fliers.
The Golden Eagles now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Long Branch for a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. Central Regional will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-9.
In their next game, the Scarlet Fliers face the Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 11. Neptune will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.
