Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 17-7 in a league battle.
The Oakers now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount St. Charles Academy for a Division 2 battle on Wednesday, May 11. Coventry will clash with a Mounties squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Mounties record now stands at 8-1.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Wednesday, May 11. Mt. Hope will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Clippers come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 12-7 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
