Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings face the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, May 11. Loudoun Valley will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Bolts enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA).

The Spartans now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuscarora for a Dulles challenge on Monday, May 16. Broad Run will face a Huskies team coming off a 3-2 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-5.
