Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pottsville for a Schuylkill I challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Blue Mountain will battle a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 16-15 non-league loss to Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Jim Thorpe falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Olympians host Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA) to battle the Cardinals in a Schuylkill I challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Pine Grove won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA)
