Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 7-0 record.

With the loss, Southern falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Northeast (Pasadena, MD) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 9-11. Northeast won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against North County (Glen Burnie, MD)
