In Monday's league outing, the host Colton-Pierrepont Colts softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks.
Next up, the Colts meet the Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) in a Section 10 East battle, on Thursday, May 12. Colton-Pierrepont will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 7-1 record after their 7-6 league win over Norwood-Norfolk (Norwood, NY).
The Lumberjacks (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Parishville-Hopkinton (Parishville, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 10 East test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Parishville-Hopkinton overcame St. Regis Falls (St. Regis Falls, NY), 15-14, in a league test.
