The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) and the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), saw North Laurel's softball squad nip Estill County by a count of 4-3.

The Jaguars now sport a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they host Corbin for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10. North Laurel will face a Redhounds squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, Estill County falls to 13-14 on the campaign. The Engineers host Powell County (Stanton, KY) to face the Pirates in a District 56 match on Tuesday, May 10. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 4-16. Powell County lost 14-1 in their recent non-league match against Wolfe County (Campton, KY)
