The Freeport Pretzels routed the host Guilford Vikings softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Monday's league battle.
The Pretzels (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs go into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 battle with a 1-18 record. In their last battle, Rockford East was routed by Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 15-0, in a league battle.
The Vikings now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 battle on Tuesday, May 10. Guilford will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 11-9.
