Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) and the visiting Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), witnessed Oceanside Collegiate Academy's softball squad tip Lakewood by a count of 7-6.
The Landsharks now sport a 17-12 record. They play next when they travel to Aynor for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will face a Blue Jackets squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Blue Jackets record now stands at 18-3.
With the loss, Lakewood moves to 3-8 on the season.
