In Monday's league outing, the visiting St. Bernard Saints softball team scored a nice 38-17 win over the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Saints battle the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 10. St. Bernard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Clippers enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 9-4 non-league win over New London (New London, CT).
The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Montville ran past New London (New London, CT), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
