Spectators at Monday's league match between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), witnessed Marion Center's softball squad prevail over Purchase Line by a count of 18-4.

The Stingers now sport a 11-3 record.

With the loss, Purchase Line moves to 1-10 on the season. The Red dragons travel to Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to meet the Owls in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10. The Owls go into the match with a record of 0-7. Harmony Area lost 21-0 in their recent non-league match against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)
