The West Scranton Invaders softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting North Pocono Trojans to 0 in the Invaders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Scranton improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Invaders travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Lackawanna 1 game on Wednesday, May 11. The Comets come into the game with a record of 13-0. Abington Heights won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Whitehall Zephyrs (Whitehall, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 10. North Pocono will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Zephyrs come into the game with a 11-5 record after their 4-2 league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA).
