Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Elk Grove for a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Prospect will face a Grenadiers squad coming off a 13-12 league loss to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to face the Bison in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 14-3. Buffalo Grove won 17-3 in their recent league challenge against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL)
